Support & maintenance

Launch is a beginning.

Hosting, deployment, updates and maintenance to improve reliability and performance.

In short

DJWP provides ongoing website support and maintenance: server setup and hosting configuration, HTTPS, deployments through a separate testing environment, WordPress and plugin updates, backups, fixes and continuous improvements.

Is this for you?

  • Nobody is responsible for keeping your website updated
  • You are worried an update will break something
  • You need a reliable partner for small changes and new features

Problems we solve

Sound
familiar?

Updates pile up

Updates are waiting, but nobody knows which ones matter or what they might break. Your team has no clear routine for reviewing changes and checking the site afterward.

Problems surface through customers

A form stops working, a certificate expires or the server runs out of space. Your team learns about it from a customer because nobody is checking those parts of the site.

Small changes keep waiting

A price change, new photo or corrected service description gets passed between people without being published. Nobody owns the small tasks, and the site gradually falls behind the business.

Backups exist only in theory

Backups have never been restored in a test, or they sit only on the website's server. You do not know what could be recovered if that server failed.

What you get

Deliverables.
Clearly defined.

  • Server setup and hosting configurationHosting chosen and configured for your site — PHP, database, caching, email and DNS — documented so nothing depends on memory.
  • HTTPS, backups and security hardeningHTTPS configuration, backups stored separately from the website server, and agreed security settings suited to the platform and hosting setup.
  • A staging environment for testing.A separate copy of the site where updates and new features are tested before they reach visitors.
  • WordPress core, theme and plugin updatesApplied on a regular schedule, with checks of key pages and forms afterward and a rollback plan if something goes wrong.
  • Content updates and small improvementsNew pages, text and image changes, small layout tweaks and new sections — handled as part of ongoing work.
  • Performance and SEO monitoringAgreed checks of availability, loading speed and search data, with a short report on findings and recommended next steps.

How we build

The approach,
in detail.

  • Start with a review

We review the site's condition and who is responsible for each part of it. That review separates routine care from existing problems that need their own work, giving the support agreement a clear starting point.

  • Plan for maintenance and recovery

We identify important functions to check and agree how problems should be handled. Backup recovery is part of that planning, with responsibilities and limitations documented before an incident puts the process under pressure.

  • Improve, not just maintain

We review requests alongside available usage and search data to decide which small improvements matter most. Changes that fit the support scope can be prioritized together; larger additions need a separate decision before work begins.

  • Document the setup

We keep an agreed record of accounts, configuration and maintenance procedures, including outside services the site depends on. This gives you and a future provider a clearer starting point when responsibility for the site changes.

How we work together.

  1. Onboarding review

Code, hosting, plugins and backups — we fix what is risky first.

  2. Agree the scope

Updates, monitoring and a monthly allowance for changes.

  3. Safe changes

Every change goes through a staging copy before release.

  4. Regular reports

What was updated, fixed and improved — in plain words.

Questions

Questions about
this service.

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly — we usually reply within one business day.

Ask about your project
Can you take over a website someone else built?

Yes. We start with a review of the code, hosting and plugins, fix what is risky and agree on a support scope that fits your website.

What does monthly care include?

The scope is agreed for each project: which updates, backups, monitoring and checks are covered, how many content changes are included and how other work is handled. We review the site first, so existing problems and ongoing care are not treated as the same job.

Do you provide hosting?

Yes, or we work with your existing provider. Either way, the hosting account is registered to you, and the agreement sets out who handles billing, renewals, backups and support requests, and which responsibilities stay with the provider.

What happens if the site goes down?

The response follows the support scope agreed for your site. We investigate the issue and may need help from the hosting provider or another service. Recovery can involve a rollback or backup restoration. Afterward, we explain the findings, remaining risks and recommended changes.

Can we end support?

Under the terms agreed for your project. The site, accounts and data are yours throughout, so ending support never blocks your access: we hand over files, documentation and credentials, and help move any subscriptions that need transferring.
